don't ppl get surprised nowadays?

Geez.

I mean.. seriously.

So i came out to another close friend of mine. He said "haha ok".

Damn. Am i emitting too much gay vibes? Or maybe i shouldn't keep my hands eyes on my hubby in public so much. Hm.. or is that fitting pink shirt too obvious a sign? (not that it's mine anyway.. tho i love it so so much =P)

I mean, i expected more.. dramatic responses. Ah maybe coming out to them on the MSN has something to do with the dramatic effect. But then, "haha ok" seems to be so.. casual. Like me telling him i ate chicken rice for dinner and he says "haha ok".

My straight-acting alter ego is insulted and humiliated. Damn i'm really letting my fabulous pink side showing too much. OMG i'm even blogging like one now!

Haha. Well, really. Is 'coming out' becoming some everyday event these days? He said he ain't surprised coz he guessed it already some time ago tho. Because i never chased any girl before. Like, is that so obvious?

So he already suspected some time ago, but never asked because it's 'none of his business'. But he's cool.. and that makes me more comfortable being myself actually. Acting straight all the time does get tiring.. even more so when you get attached =/. You can't really evade the 'so.. who's your girlfriend?' question at every turn of the conversation your whole life.

So that's 2 down, and many many more to go..

longfellow : great tat frens accept us as V are ! just as a caution, consider yr profession/career, it MIGHT not work out 2 da best of interest when your "bosses" KNOWS tat u r GAY. < yes ! life is full of prejudice. >

haha, well i believe if you are capable in your job, and if your boss is professional, sexual orientation should not be a problem at all. Sexuality has nothing to do with capability.

But great that you're coming out :) it's been a long journey for you huh. glad you've come a long way! keep it up! As denise ho's song "rolls and royce" says "永遠的忍耐 永遠不出來 世界將依然 不變改"
It's time gay people/couples come out, and change the outlook of the world! cheers!

ha ha, ya i know, some people don't get surprised anymore. The one dramatic friend i had once threw the ice cream she was eating and ran away from me. But these days, my friends just take it in a stride, it's like they know I'm gay, and they just accept it, and not ask me about it. It feels good. Quite professional actually. ;-)
