When does someone become more than just someone?

He's a really nice guy, makes me dinner, offers to drive me around, puts me up at his place and watch DVDs together all day.

I'm not thinking too much into it at the moment, because it might just be me. Maybe he's just being nice and enjoys having someone around.

We're going to catch a movie together tomorrow. It'd have been just like a date, except we are not dating.
