He sat in the front passenger seat, while I had my full concentration on the road. Not that I needed to, the roads are literally empty at 3am in the morning.
"You know, just the other day I thought about getting a ring for you."
I laughed at the random revelation. Well, I wasn't expecting it.
"But I thought you'll just freak out if I did."
"Aw that's sweet but I won't be allowed to wear it at work. All the infection control nonsense."
"Yeah, well you could wear it when you're not at work."
We've only been together for 6 months, mind. Nevertheless, I don't know why but the thought of him wanting to buy me a ring made me smile.
I do love him, don't I?
